Tanjong Pagar Railway Station to Hold Its Last Open House on Christmas Day

2016 December 13

Tanjong Pagar Railway Station will be open for one last time to hold an open house on 25th December (Christmas Day).

This national monument has been opened on every public holiday since February 2015, but will remain closed for the construction of the Cantonment MRT station on the Circle Line, which is scheduled to be completed in 2025.

According to the Singapore Land Authority, the open house will have an all-day market, featuring Christmas treats, food and beverages. Visitors who drop by in the evening will be entertained by live Christmas carols by a cappella group NUS Resonance and Richard Jackson Jazz Quartet from 5pm.

Visitors can also donate their unused toys and books to the Community Chest.

The station will be open from 9am to 9pm, admission is free. Visitors are encouraged to take public transport as parking is limited.

But, if you insist on driving, here is the parking information
