Me and my lay both enjoy being outdoors and all, but somehow we still prefer to have a higher level of comfort. Going all out, camping-in-the-wild is sure fun, but at the end of the day, we like to relax and enjoy the scenery without worrying about mosquito bites, or dirty feet.

Here comes glamping. In short, its an amalgamation of the words 'glam' and 'camping', meaning camping out in breathtaking nature, but still retaining comfort, and a degree of luxury.

If you are going to the Philippines soon, what about trying out glamping with your partner? here are 7 spots for you to consider!

1. Nurture Wellness Village, Tagaytay City

Promising more than just a camping spot, Nurture Wellness Village provides pitched tent with mattress and beddings. To top up the experience, guests are also treated to a 30-minute outdoor facial treatment or foot massage.

In the evenings, a BBQ dinner feast is organised by the campfire. Toiletries, towels, and a playground with a trampoline are also included, making this a camping experience like no other.

2. Casa Antonio Vacations at Batangas

If you want to experience camping by the beach and yet hates having sand everyone on your body, then this is the place. Here are Casa Antonio, prepare to wake up in a tent with mattress, overlooking the sunrise.

Glamping in Casa Antonio comes with all 3 meals provided, pool access to the beach club, and also 24-hour security and picnic table. Shall  you feel ready to do more, feel free to rent kayak, or a jet ski.

3. Aetas Glamping at El Nido

Culture buff? Then this is the place for you. Aetas Glamping focuses on introducing the local culture to its guests - food, nature, adventure, Filipino style.

Set on a hill, the glamp site offers amazing view of El Nido itself. Each tent is decorated uniquely by local artists. Be prepared to be served scrumptious meals - local sweets are even served to you before you go to bed!

A minimum of two night stay is required, and your stay included a pick-up and drop-off, private shower, and bath amenities.

4. The Birdhouse at El Nido

Be ready to be surprised by how 'small' this place it, small but in a good way. This new glampsite has only four tents - with sunny, island-luxe style interior deco. Outside are the amazing views of Bacuit Bay.

Consider this glampsite as a station to rest, while using the day to explore El Nido's famous islands and lagoons - its location is just a hop away from El Nido town, and yet because it is perched up a hill, you will get peace and quiet to rest after a long day.

5. Ultra Winds Mountain Resort at Bukidnon

The name might give you ideas of very strong wind, but rest assured it is not. Instead, Ultra Winds gives you both luxury and peace and quiet here. Nestled among trees on a mountainside in Pualas, Bukidnon, your will enjoy breezy and cool days, and end it with cool, starry nights.

Feel free to pull out some beddings, and picnic under the sky, overlooking the stars! Imagine the smile of your significant other when you do this!

6. Ten Cents To Heaven at Rizal

A short 16KM away from Manila, Ten Cents To Heaven promises an amazing getaway for urbanites at Manila city. Located close to the Sierra Madre mountain range, it also offers a breathtaking natural view as well.

Amenities comes with your bookings - comfy beds, pillows, sheets, showers, all hosted in amazing tents. If you are feeling up for it, there are also plenty of extreme activities to try - Ziplining, wall climbing, rappeling are all available on site.

7. San Rafael River Adventure, Bulacan

What made this glampspot different is that the tents are build on river rafts. During the day, choose from going for a kayak paddle, or dip in the infinity pool, while enjoying the views of the mighty San Rafael River.

At night, chill and relax around your tent, cuddling up and count up the stars with your significant other! When it is all over, let the river waves gently cuddle you to sleep.
