Well, if you want to experience it, please visit the Skylodge Padjajaran Anyar located at Badega Gunung Parang of Purwakarta regency, West Java, Indonesia! This hotel is known as the first hanging hotel in Indonesia, perched on the side of the cliff!
After passing a trial period for safety through September and October, the Skylodge Padjajaran Anyar opened its doors to guest this month, while the grand launch is set for January 2018.
Dhanni Daelami, a climbing enthusiast and the operator of the Mount Parang tourist area, said that the facilities adhered to internal standard. All guest will be accompanied and supervised by expert guides throughout the journey to the cabin.
The supervision has to be done because the hotel is located in the extreme area, which is the steep cliff of Mount Parang. Getting into the cabin, the guest will face challenging route by climbing the 500 meters and 60-degree terrain via ferrata, iron steps in Italian. Guests then continue their journey by pulling themselves across a Tyrolean traverse before finally arriving at the accommodation.
The cabin can accommodate up to five adults and comes with complete facilities, including a bathroom and a kitchenette. A one-night stay in this suspended, 15-square-meter cabin will cost around USD 295.55.
