Dive Into the World of Fairy Tale at Alice on Wednesday in Tokyo

2017 June 21

We all know how crazy and colorful Tokyo's Harajuku district is, especially at the famous Takeshita Street that houses plenty of stores, and "Alice On Wednesday" is one of the shops you should check out. It's a three-storey shop and each floors has its own theme which are based on the concept of Alice In Wonderland. However, to step foot into the building, you will have to be able to pass the doors first.

The owners chose "Wednesday" for the name because they said that day of the week is usually one of the most boring day of the week. Thus, they are trying to give it a whole new positive meaning. Not only it sells unique Alice in Wonderland themed items, it's also doubles as a perfect place for some Instagram posts!

The Queen of Hearts room is filled with ornaments, cards statue, mugs, tote bags etc. On the top floor, you will find the cat Chesire's artwork hanging on the wall with his eyes looking at you. While in the Mad Hatter Room, you will be able to admire the great Hat shaped Chandelier. If you have some extra change, don't forget to get the "Drink Me" potions and "Eat Me" cookies. Oh, and also the Rabbit's pocket watch!
