One of South Korea's most popular sandwich joints, Isaac Toast opened its outlet in Malaysia this month in KLIA 2 Arrival Hall, Sepang.
Isaac Toast started out as a small sandwich stall in Seoul and grown to over 700 retail stores in South Korea as well as several outlets in Macau and Taiwan.
Some of their most popular varieties include the Bulgalbi (grilled beef patty), Bulgogi (marinated beef slices), Bacon Best, and Ham Special. As for the Malaysia outlet, there will be varieties such as Bacon Cheese Special, Ham & Cheese Special, Potato MVP and more starting at RM13.90 (USD $3) while coffee starts at the price of RM8.50 (USD $1.80).
The sandwiches start out with slices of bread fried over a butter-lined hot plate before they are topped with a sauce, followed by the omelette slice, meat patty, shredded cabbage, etc and a slice of cheese.
Probably due to all the exposures on social media and they are still new, there are many reviews regarding the long queues and serving time, which may take up to 45 minutes to 1 hour. If you plan to grab a sandwich before catching your flight, it's best to arrive much earlier so you don't get disappointed.
